Crew Candidate Screener Agent
Open Indeed, manually review each application, check five screening answers, decide if the candidate is worth calling, copy their contact info, and manually add them to your Monday board. Repeat 40-100+ times per day.
Open Monday in the morning. Find 20 qualified crew candidates already on your board with screening notes, candidate questions, and best call times attached. Start dialing.
100+ daily Indeed applications, 10-15 hours per week of manual review
Seasonal equipment testing companies get 40-100+ crew member applications per day on Indeed.
Single job posts receive 200+ applications overnight during peak season.
Recruiting manager must open each one to find the 15-20% worth calling.
Time spent checking screening answers instead of conducting phone calls with qualified candidates.
Filter 100+ applications down to 20 qualified crew candidates in one automated pass
The agent handles first-pass review automatically. You open Monday in the morning and find your call list ready.
See why each candidate was recommended or filtered out. Build trust in the system and adjust criteria if needed.
The Monday card includes what the candidate asked and when they prefer to be reached, so you're prepared before dialing.
This Chrome extension runs inside your logged-in Indeed session, pulls new applications once per day, scores each candidate against your screening criteria (work authorization, travel availability, physical labor experience, Real ID, firefighter status), and pushes only the qualified ~20 directly to your Monday.com hiring board. You spend your time on phone calls instead of application review.
How the screener works
The Chrome extension integrates with your existing Indeed and Monday workflows. Install once, log in once, and let the agent handle daily screening.
Pin the extension to your toolbar. A green light confirms you are logged into the correct Indeed account. The extension shows your Indeed email so you can verify the right account is connected.
The extension runs automatically while you stay logged into Indeed. It scrapes new crew member applications from your active job posts and sends them to the scoring backend.
The agent evaluates work authorization, travel availability (3-5 nights per week), physical labor experience, Real ID status, and firefighter background. Candidates are ranked and the top ~20% are marked as recommended.
New items appear on your 2026 Crew Candidates board with screening notes, candidate questions, and best call times already filled in. No CSV upload needed.
Open Monday in the morning and start making calls. The agent has already filtered out the 80% who don't meet basic criteria.

Is this for you?
- + Recruiting managers at seasonal field service companies - Equipment testing, construction crews, landscaping, and other blue-collar operations that hire 20-100+ crew members per season.
- + Teams using Indeed as their primary job board - The extension integrates directly with Indeed Employer Portal. If you post crew jobs on Indeed, this works for you.
- + Teams already using Monday.com for hiring - Recommended candidates flow directly to your Monday board. No CSV upload or manual data entry.
- + Companies with clear, repeatable screening criteria - Work authorization, travel availability, physical labor experience, certifications, background checks. The agent evaluates these consistently.
- - Multi-platform sourcing - This build screens Indeed applications only. If you source from LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or other platforms, you will need separate workflows for those channels.
- - Highly qualitative hiring decisions - Sales roles, management positions, and other jobs requiring nuanced judgment about culture fit are better handled by human review. This build works best for repeatable, criteria-based screening.
- - Teams without Monday.com - The build pushes candidates to Monday.com. If you use a different project management or ATS system, integration would require custom development.
- - Multi-tenant recruiting platforms - This is a single-tenant build hardcoded to one Indeed account and one Monday board. It is not a white-label solution for recruiting agencies or staffing firms.
Scoped build plus usage-based runs
The build includes a custom Chrome extension, a Railway-hosted backend, a candidate review dashboard, and direct Monday.com integration. Pricing covers the initial build and setup, plus monthly charges for daily screening runs and Monday API calls.
- Initial build includes prototype with synthetic data, customer approval, production setup, and first month of runs.
- Monthly charges cover daily application screening, Monday.com API calls, and backend hosting.
- No per-candidate fees. Pricing is the same whether you receive 20 or 200 applications per day.
- Chrome extension distribution via unlisted Web Store link or dedicated-browser developer mode (no additional cost).
How much time does this save per week?
Recruiting managers typically spend 10-15 hours per week manually reviewing 40-100+ daily Indeed applications to identify the ~20 crew members worth calling. This extension eliminates that first-pass review, so you spend your time on phone conversations instead of application screening.
Does this work with platforms other than Indeed?
No. This build screens Indeed applications only. If you source from LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or other job boards, you will need separate workflows for those channels. The extension integrates directly with Indeed Employer Portal.
What screening criteria does the agent evaluate?
The agent evaluates five criteria: US work authorization, ability to travel 3-5 nights per week, physical labor experience, valid Real ID status, and firefighter background. These are the same five screening questions you currently check manually on every application.
Will the agent mark applications as filtered in Indeed?
No. The agent filters applications and pushes only qualified candidates to your Monday.com board. Filtered-out candidates are visible in the review dashboard with reasoning, so you can override if needed, but they are not marked inside Indeed itself.
What happens if I use a different project management tool instead of Monday.com?
This build is designed to push candidates directly to Monday.com. If you use a different project management or ATS system, integration would require custom development. The build is not compatible with other platforms out of the box.
How often does the agent pull new applications?
The extension pulls new applications once per day automatically while you stay logged into Indeed. You do not need to manually trigger the sync, though the extension popup includes a 'Run sync now' button if you want to pull applications on demand.
Can I see why the agent recommended or filtered out each candidate?
Yes. Every candidate shows clear reasoning that references specific screening answers. For recommended candidates, you see why they met your criteria. For filtered-out candidates, you see exactly which requirement they did not meet. This transparency helps you verify the logic and adjust criteria if needed.
What information about each candidate lands on the Monday card?
The Monday card includes the agent's screening reasoning, a summary of their screening answers, any questions they asked in their application, their preferred call time, and a link to their Indeed profile. All of this appears in the Notes column so you have full context before making the call.
Stop reviewing 100 applications to find 20 crew members worth calling.
The screener runs once per day, filters your applications automatically, and lands qualified candidates on your Monday board. You start making calls instead of reading applications.
